At the beginning of 2019 we announced our Charity of the Year partnership with Help for Heroes (H4H). H4H are a tri-service charity providing recovery and support for the Armed Forces community whose lives are affected by their service, no matter when they served. They have a vast network of professionals and partners, helping veterans and their families through physical and emotional rehabilitation, identifying new career opportunities as well as financial and welfare support. Every penny raised is done with the express purpose of empowering veterans.

Throughout the year we’ve held various fundraising events in the office to support this cause. The highlight so far being the ‘Bake for Heroes’ bake sale, where the talented bakers of Techmodal donned their aprons for Armed Forces Week. We had some amazing treats lined up resulting in a two-day long sugar rush in the office.

As a business we are committed to employing veterans and reservists, and we are lucky enough to have some exceptional reservists, ex-servicemen and women amongst our team. The charity partnership is an important initiative and a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the dedication and contribution they make to our UK.
