Sarah Trevelion is Techmodal’s Head of People and a serving Reservist currently appointed as 2IC 39 Sig Regt based in Bristol:
I’m incredibly proud that only a year after receiving Silver, that Techmodal are being honoured with a Gold Employer Recognition Scheme award.
As a serving Army Reservist and Head of People at Techmodal, I am grateful for the support from the business both personally and professionally and I look forward to us continuing to improve our support to the Armed Forces community in the future.
Minister for Defence People and Veterans, Johnny Mercer, said:
The breadth and diversity of the winners this year shows how businesses support for the Armed Forces continues to grow no matter the sector, company size or location. I am grateful for the positive attitude and flexible policies these organisations have adopted towards the defence community, which is testament to the fantastic contribution our serving personnel, veterans and their families can make to any organisation.
I am delighted that so many companies are supporting our people and that, through this scheme, we can give them the public recognition they deserve.
ERS award holders include Defence sector giants Thales UK, Babcock and BAE Systems.
Techmodal Director Gareth Vaughan said:
We see huge benefits from the perspective our reservist and veteran employees bring to our business and we are always delighted to be able to support the Service charities which do a fantastic job looking after them when they complete their service.
